Languages and contact

We can write and reply in any language, with the help of a translator, as long as it’s by WhatsApp or email. On the phone we speak Spanish and English. You’ll find our number and email on the Contact page.

Check-in and check-out

Check-in is from 17:00 and check-out is before 11:00. If your arrival or departure doesn’t clash with other guests’, you’ll be able to arrive and leave whenever you like, but we won’t know that until the date gets closer.

Check-in is self-service. The keys are in a lockbox next to the door, and we’ll send you the code a few hours before you arrive, once the house is ready.

Location

The house is close to the Albayzín and the city centre (see the location here). The Albayzín is a 10-minute walk, the Cathedral 20 minutes and the Alhambra 25. There’s a bus stop about 50 metres from the house, so the whole city is within easy reach by public transport.

Accessibility

The Sacromonte and the Albayzín are neighbourhoods of narrow cobbled lanes, and getting around in a wheelchair or with reduced mobility is difficult, although the buses and taxis have access ramps.

Heating

Winters in Granada are cold. There are electric radiators in every bedroom and in the living room, and the beds have thick duvets.

If you’re coming by car

You can drive right up to the house, but access to the Sacromonte is restricted to certain hours. You’ll find everything you need to know in our guide to arriving by car. If you arrive during those hours, there’s street parking about 100 metres from the house, although it’s scarce. If not, you’ll need to leave the car in a car park or on the streets of the Albayzín and walk or take the bus.
